Why Your Prayers Over Your Children Are Not in Vain

There will be seasons when you pray over your child and see absolutely nothing change. The grades stay the same. The attitude stays the same. The friendships you are concerned about stay the same. In those seasons, it is easy to believe your prayers are bouncing off the ceiling.

But Scripture does not measure prayer by what we can immediately observe. It measures prayer by whose hands it lands in.

Every time you whisper your child's name in prayer, you are not negotiating with silence β€” you are depositing a request with a Father who already knows the end from the beginning. The delay you feel is not denial. It is often development, both in your child and in you.

Keep praying. Keep declaring. The seed planted in secret is still growing, even on the days the soil looks undisturbed.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding." Proverbs 3:5 NKJV
